Lampe Berger fragrance lamps are on sale in our store in Bradford, West Yorkshire UK. The lamps combine a 100 year old concept of air purification with the pleasures of rich fragrances. The Fragrance lamps were invented in 1898 by a French pharmaceutical chemist called Maurice Berger in Paris. They were finitially used to purify the air in hospitals and later entered the domestic market through an association with his company Lampe Berger and the fancy glass bottle makers of the era such as Lalique and Baccarat.

Lampe Berger are dedicated to improving your indoor atmosphere and to this day they continue to meet your needs in providing you with purer air at home. It destroys 68% of bacteria, germs and moulds, eliminates unpleasant odours and subtly perfumes your surroundings.

What do you use it for?

Simply, the Lampe Berger removes odours, kills bacteria and fragrances the air.
Developed by Monsieur Maurice Berger, a pharmaceutical chemist, each lamp features, under its’ stylish cap, a patented catalytic burner that destroys odours and helps purify the air, eliminating up to 68% of any airborne bacteria before the fragrance is dispersed.

The Lampe Berger is successful at destroying a whole range of odours at the molecular level, including:

How easy is it to use a Lampe Berger Fragrance Lampe?

The Lampe Berger comes with simple instructions and is safe to use. Just add fragrance, then insert the wick/burner, and allow the wick to soak for 20 minutes. Light the burner for two minutes and extinguish.

After the purifying process occurs, the fragrance then disperses into the air. 45 minutes are all that is necessary to fragrance a room of up to 300 square feet. To stop the fragrance process, simply cap off the wick/burner.
